I bought this for my 6 year old because all the stores were sold out by the time he decided he wanted to try snowboarding (mid February). It was a total disappointment. It does not slide very easily at all, even on well packed hills. Other kids had boards made of a similar material which were purchase from Sports Authority for approximately the same price and they were having no problem sliding down the hills.

You have to have an adult carefully reset the straps after every ride. Don't buy this unless you have a lot of patience!

This is a very cheap snowboard...in both price and quality. The price was incredibly low, but it wouldn't slide in the snow and the straps kept coming undone. We returned it after trying after a couple frustrating hours.
